After two full years, the Denver Broncos were finally able to make a draft pick in the first round. The last time they picked they got all-world cornerback Patrick Surtin II, so the bar is set pretty high. With that 12th overall pick, they landed Oregon quarterback Bo Nix and thus a new era began in Denver with a title of ‘franchise quarterback’ at stake for the young rookie.
