The Broncos’ road to London for their Oct. 30 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars began with a short exchange between team executives.
At a league meeting, Jaguars president Mark Lamping asked Broncos president/CEO Joe Ellis if his club would be interested in playing at Wembley Stadium.
“Absolutely, we would love it,” Ellis responded, according to Lamping.
The game became official Wednesday and the Jaguars’ ninth trip to London will be the Broncos’ second.
“They were our recommended opponent although it’s out of our control,” Lamping said in a phone interview. “We’re thankful the league selected (the Broncos).
