Good Morning Broncos Country! Let’s talk about re-signing Pat Surtain II as we enter the final weekend of the NFL offseason (thank god).
It was announced earlier this week that the Broncos and guard Quinn Meinerz have agreed to terms on a four-year, $80 million dollar contract extension. This was a well-deserved contract extension that will keep one of the Broncos' best young players around for the foreseeable future. With Meinerz re-signed, the Broncos now have to set their sights on re-signing cornerback Patrick Surtain II.
As we know, Surtain is one of the best cornerbacks in the entire league and is viewed as the top corner in the league according to an ESPN post that polled coaches, executives, and scouts.
