Good morning Broncos Country!
During training camp and the preseason, there are always sleeper players who surprise as standout players and make a case for a spot on the 53-man roster. So far, the Broncos have a handful of them already. Safety Devon Key has been getting starter reps with Brandon Johnson sidelined, rookie Devaughn Vele has been impressive, and reserve safety Keidron Smith has been making a strong case for a roster spot.

He has had interceptions in back-to-back preseason games, has been strong in coverage, showcased tackling ability, and probably most importantly, making plays on special teams.
