Broncos’ rookies will report tomorrow, and that means all eyes will be on rookie QB Bo Nix.
By all accounts, the Broncos’ first-round draft pick had a great offseason training and minicamp earlier this summer.
The question in the coming days as the veterans show up for the official start to training camp July 26 will be how long before a QB1 emerges?
Head coach Sean Payton said in June that he’s more interested in getting the right starter than naming one too early.
There are a few obvious scenarios on how this could play out —
1) Payton continues with an even rotation among the three quarterbacks to play with the ones, twos and threes, and alternates starters for the first two preseason games (I’ve already dismissed Zach Wilson as only fighting for QB2 status).
