Horse Tracks: Don’t forget about that Broncos’ defense

Related Topics: Sean Payton, Bo Nix

In all the Bo Nix hype (of which I was happily a part) during last night’s curb-stomping of the Packers’ second and third-string, it got lost just how good the defense looked.

The Broncos’ defense essentially pitched a shutout, for one.

But looking at how every drive for the Packers ended in utter non-production was also telling:

First half – Downs (4 plays, 7 yards gained); Punt; Punt; Interception; End of half (2 plays, 4 yards gained).

Second half – Downs (4 plays; 9 yards); Fumble; Punt; Missed FG; Downs (4 plays; 9 yards); Punt; End of game.
