The Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs released their first injury report this week ahead of their Monday Night showdown against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately for the Broncos, they lost one of their tight ends for the season.
It was reported earlier this evening that second-year tight end Jake Butt tore his ACL during the teams light walk-through. This is a tough blow for the Broncos and Butt who is now recovering from his third ACL tear during his football career.
Head Coach Vance Joseph said in a press release released by the team that Butt would return “stronger than ever”.
