A sudden health scare Sunday night sent Broncos coach Gary Kubiak to the hospital minutes after his team’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Denver. He’s not the first Broncos coach to suffer a medical problem during a season:

Issue: During the preseason, Reeves, then 46, felt chest pains while exercising. So he checked himself into a Greeley hospital, then flew to California for an artery-clearing procedure.
Replacement: Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.
Outcome: Doctors predicted Reeves would miss two to six weeks.
