Texas A&M University announced Friday that Broncos Head Coach Gary Kubiak will be honored with a lifetime achievement award.
Kubiak became the first former Aggie to win a Super Bowl as a head coach, but his achievements in football were plentiful while at Texas A&M, too. He earned three letters at quarterback and was honored with the Aggie Heart Award, which Texas A&M calls “the most prestigious honor for an Aggie senior football player.”
After Kubiak’s NFL playing career, he served as Texas A&M’s running backs coach for two seasons.
Kubiak and the other award winners will be honored on Nov.
