Broncos coach Gary Kubiak was taken to a Denver-area hospital by ambulance Sunday evening after his team’s 23-16 loss to Atlanta. A team spokesman said Kubiak was suffering flu-like symptoms.
After players cleared out of the Broncos locker room at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, about 10 minutes after Kubiak spoke to gathered media behind a podium, the coach was put into a waiting ambulance on a stretcher and taken away.
In 2013, when Kubiak was then head coach of the Houston Texans, he was taken to a hospital at halftime of a game after suffering a mini-stroke.
