ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- It is the Denver Broncos one-a-day vitamin.
As in another day, another quarterback linked to the reigning Super Bowl champions. Thursday, it was Johnny Manziel, because of a conversation with Broncos coach Gary Kubiak had with Manziel last month.
The day before, and many of the days before that, it has been Colin Kaepernick. Until Robert Griffin III was signed by the Browns, to replace Manziel, his name was in the Broncos’ quarterback hopper as well. But if you have thrown a football in the NFL, or even if you’re about to throw a football in an NFL game, it’s likely someone, somewhere, has attached your name to the Broncos’ quarterback depth chart.
