Former Denver Broncos quarterback, offensive coordinator, head coach, and now senior personnel advisory Gary Kubiak was inducted into the Texas sports Hall of Fame on Saturday evening.
Kubiak’s induction is a great honor, as some of the best athletes in all sports come from the state of Texas, which is especially known for its great football.
Kubiak is a Houston native who played his college ball at Texas A&M after a record-setting high school career as a passer.
His entire NFL career was spent as a backup quarterback to John Elway, and the two have shared a seemingly life-long bond, coming into the NFL together in 1983 and spending a number of years together as player/coach.
