The Denver Broncos ended an eight-game skid against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday with a defensive beatdown. Early on it didn’t seem it was going to go that way as Gardner Minshew looked unstoppable. However, one play is all it took to change the course of the game.
Minshew saw supreme confidence evaporate into trepidation and little mistakes grew into monumental ones. By the fourth quarter, the Broncos were up 34-10 after being down 10-3 early in the second. That type of performance will lead to plenty of game ball choices to pick from.
