ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Nothing like a job opening at quarterback in one of the most quarterback-mad cities in the NFL to fill the old suggestion box.
With Peyton Manning’s retirement and Brock Osweiler’s departure for the exceedingly green financial pastures of Houston, the Broncos are hearing from points -- local and beyond -- about what they should do at quarterback.
The Broncos will introduce Mark Sanchez, who executive vice president of football operations/general manager John Elway called the “first step" to rebuilding the depth chart, Monday. Elway said Sanchez would “bring leadership" to the position and “will compete" for the starting job.
