Former Broncos WR Jordan Norwood announced his retirement from the NFL after eight seasons in lengthy social media post over the weekend, via the Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post.
Norwood explained that he really never loved the game of football and finally realized he “didn’t have to keep acting like I loved the game of football.”
Norwood, 30, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2009. However, he lasted just a few months in Cleveland before he was cut and later signed to the Eagles’ practice squad.
