Former Broncos star Floyd Little to get honorary degree at Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Three-time All-American running back Floyd Little is being honored by his alma mater.

Syracuse University will give Little an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at next month's commencement.

Little, a star for the Orange in the mid-1960s, also played nine years for the Denver Broncos of the NFL and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.

After his retirement from pro football, Little graduated from the University of Denver's College of Law and completed an executive management training program with Ford Motor Co. He's currently a special assistant to the director of athletics at Syracuse.
