The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its 25 modern-era semifinalists for the Class of 2020 on Tuesday, and it includes former Broncos safeties Steve Atwater and John Lynch.
Atwater is a semifinalist for the ninth consecutive year. He played for the Broncos from 1989-98 and finished his career in 1999 with the New York Jets.
Lynch, currently the San Francisco 49ers’ general manager, played the final five years of his career for the Broncos (2004-07). He is a semifinalist for the eighth consecutive year.
Also, Boulder native Tony Boselli, an offensive tackle for Jacksonville (1995-2001), is a semifinalist for the fifth consecutive year.
