Paxton Lynch‘s NFL career might not be over.
The former Broncos starting quarterback and first-round 2016 NFL draft pick worked out for the Dolphins on Wednesday morning, but according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, it was “merely due diligence.”
Lynch, 24, has been out of a job since he was waived by the Broncos on Sept. 2. In his four preseason games this year, he completed 28 of 44 pass attempts for two touchdowns and an interception and was heavily booed by fans at Broncos Stadium. He was also sacked four times.
