The Broncos are finalizing an agreement to hire former player DeMarcus Ware as a pass rush consultant, a source said today, confirming an initial ESPN report.
Ware was at organized team activity workouts this off-season, tutoring the pass rushers. It is not known how often Ware will be around the Broncos once training camp starts next month.
Ware played the final three years of his 12-season career with the Broncos, including the Super Bowl 50-winning team. He retired after the 2016 season.
Ware had 138.5 sacks in his career.
On Monday, Broncos rookie Bradley Chubb said he has benefited from Ware’s presence.
