When the Broncos’ OTA started 11-on-11 work Wednesday morning, cornerback Chris Harris was at his customary spot — with the starters.
Harris, whose contract dispute ended Tuesday night when the Broncos bumped his 2019 salary to $12.05 million, signed his contract in the morning and was present for the seventh OTA. He had previously skipped all of the voluntary offseason program.
“It’s definitely a relief,” Harris said. “You want to play football. That’s what I do. To be away from it definitely kills me, but being back out here, getting my rhythm back, making sure my feet work good, learning the defense — I’m ahead of schedule on what I have to do on the field.
