Denver’s veteran players reported to training camp Tuesday and the first of 12 open practices is Friday.
The roster will be sliced and diced and analyzed in all sorts of ways between now and the cutdown from 90 players to 53 on Aug. 29.
Today, a look at five Broncos newcomers who will attract attention during camp.
OLB Frank Clark
On a roster loaded with newcomers, Clark is one of the, well, newest. The three-time Pro Bowler and former Kansas City outside linebacker agreed to a one-year contract in June. He hasn’t put up huge regular-season numbers in recent seasons – an average of just less than six sacks per year for the Chiefs – but he is capable of changing a game quickly.
