Former Broncos coach Vance Joseph is among the many who are feeling a void following the sudden death of Demaryius Thomas.
Joseph, the Broncos’ coach for Thomas’ final two seasons in Denver in 2017 and ’18, said he was “shocked by the news” Thomas passed away Thursday at 33 years old from a medical issue at his house in Georgia.
“My wife and my kids, we all knew D.T. very well. He was a great person. Anybody who knew D.T. knew he was a great person and obviously a great football player, but the person, that is what everybody talks about,” Joseph, now the Cardinals’ defensive coordinator, told Arizona media.
