Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders continues to rehab a torn Achilles he suffered late last season. He says that he is “definitely not going to be full-go” for training camp.
The plan is for Sanders to be ready for week one of the season, which gives him some extra time that he may need.
It is a smart move from the Broncos to bring him up to speed slowly. Achilles tears are nothing to play around with and you never want to risk injury when games aren’t counting in the preseason. The Broncos will play in five preseason games this year as they are to face the Atlanta Falcons in the Hall of Fame Game to kickoff football in 2019.
