While the focus throughout training camp and preseaon has been on the Broncos’ young quarterbacks, receiver Emmanuel Sanders said his confidence in the offense as a whole has grown with another year in Gary Kubiak’s system. He sees a year of potentially greater production. But he hears the critics.
“I know there are a lot of people here doubting me, doubting this team saying the only reason we’re going to go 8-8 is offensively,” he said. “You got the No. 1 defense, but offensively we’re going to struggle. And trust me, we’re hear that noise and sometimes that adds extra flavor to the game.
