Dwyane Wade, the three-time NBA champ, who will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in August, already had a partial ownership stake with the Utah Jazz. The former Miami Heat star added to his portfolio with something a bit closer to home. Wade, a Chicago native, is joining the ownership group of the WNBA's Chicago Sky.
"It's a great opportunity to be a part of the league in its very early stages. ... Growth is going to happen, and so I want to be a part of the growth of this league," Wade said.
