Rookie quarterback Drew Lock could “possibly” be activated from injured reserve and be on the roster for Sunday’s home game against the Los Angeles Chargers, coach Vic Fangio said Monday.
He could also “possibly” be the starter.
“As far as this week goes, all options are on the table,” Fangio said. “We’ll make that decision in the next few days.”
Lock sustained a sprained right (throwing) thumb during the Broncos’ Aug. 19 preseason game against San Francisco and was placed on injured reserve after the initial 53-man roster was set, making him eligible to return.
