Drew Lock sprains hand, will miss “some time”

It looks like Drew Lock’s first preseason is coming to a premature end. After suffering a hand injury in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, reports now suggest he suffered a bad sprain. The good news is he won’t need surgery, the bad news is he’ll miss time.

Following his MRI, #Broncos rookie QB Drew Lock was diagnosed with a bad sprain, source said. But the good news is, no surgery is required. He’s obviously going to miss some time.

The injury all but cements the Broncos will carry 3 quarterbacks into the season opener against the Oakland Raiders.
