After Drew Lock lost the battle for the Broncos’ starting quarterback job to newcomer Teddy Bridgewater, the disappointed incumbent vowed to stay ready for his moment should it come in 2021.
That chance is likely, considering the Broncos have started more than one quarterback in five of the last six seasons.
“I’m confident that if my time comes — and I never wish anything negative upon anybody, especially at this position — but I’ll be ready for it whenever,” Lock said. “There won’t be any lack of work (from me)… I’m going to be able to go out there and keep the play the same and if not, try to make it a little better.
