As if they needed more help on that end of the ball, defensive end Derek Wolfe returned to the Broncos locker room following his four-game suspension.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak referred to an exemption in place to give Wolfe a week to get back into the action if he's not fully ready to go on Sunday, but Kubiak doesn't expect to have to use it. Once Wolfe is officially activated, the Broncos will have to make a corresponding roster move to open up a spot.
"I expect him to hop right back in there," Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said.
