ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Defensive end Derek Wolfe did not participate in team drills Monday after suffering a stinger, Head Coach Vance Joseph said after practice.
"He had a small stinger," Joseph said. "I think in his right shoulder, maybe, but nothing serious, more precaution."
Joseph added that he expects Wolfe to return to practice on Wednesday after a day off on Tuesday.
In 2016, Wolfe missed the final two games of the season with a neck injury suffered in Week 15 against the Patriots.
