The Denver Broncos stayed put at their original first-round draft spot on Thursday, selecting wide receiver Jerry Jeudy with the fifteenth overall pick.
But later in the evening, word spread that the team was attempting to get a second pick in the first round. I had written about the possible targets of the Broncos, and now there is word of who that player actually was.
The Broncos were seeking a trade up for LSU linebacker Patrick Queen, who eventually got selected by the Baltimore Ravens.
Queen would have been a solid selection by the Broncos, as he would be an upgrade over current middle linebacker Todd Davis.
