As the Denver Broncos wrapped up mini-camp on Thursday, the team made some transactions as they begin the long summer break.
Denver has decided to go into training camp with only three quarterbacks. Nick Stevens was waived by the team. The move had me scratching my head. Reason being that the other three quarterbacks saw their reps decrease with a fourth quarterback. So, why bring him in if they were going to release him one month after signing him?
You could make an argument that the Broncos liked what they saw from the three quarterbacks that having Nick Stevens on during training camp would prove fruitless.
