The Denver Broncos got a huge boost from undrafted rookie running back Phillip Lindsay during the 2018 season. He has been named as a nominee for an award given by VIZIO.
The award, called the “VIZIO Top Value Performer award” is given to the player “who outperformed their preseason expectations and provided the biggest boost to their team all year long.”
Lindsay was overlooked by every single NFL team. He was ultimately signed by the Broncos as an undrafted free agent and won the starting running back job in week 8 over Royce Freeman, who the Broncos drafted in 2018.
