After the Denver Broncos signed former CFL first round pick Mark Chapman on Thursday, the team signed another wide receiver to the 90-man roster. His name is Philly Brown. After appearing for a physical, he was able to put the pen to paper. Earlier this week, Jimmy Williams and Carlos Henderson did not report to training camp.
With two spots on the roster, it made all the sense for the Broncos to fill them before training camp begins on Saturday. Broncos Country might know a bit about Corey “Philly” Brown. He was on the opposite side of the field when the Broncos faced the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
