Another week, another devastating loss. This time, at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings, the Denver Broncos lost a 20-0 halftime lead and would go on to lose a 27-23 heartbreaker at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday in front of masses of jubilant Minnesota Vikings fans who were treated to a historical comeback.
In the last five seasons, teams going into halftime down by 20 were 0-99. That changed Sunday, with the Vikings becoming the first team in 100 tries to come back from a 20 + deficit. Once again, the Denver Broncos were on the wrong side of history, as it seems they have been so often this season.
