The Denver Broncos got to enter the recruiting process for undrafted players early on, and have reportedly signed former Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien.
Rypien goes from the Broncos to the Broncos after playing his college ball in Boise.
This is a very intriguing move for Denver which drafted Drew Lock and also brought back Kevin Hogan this offseason. Perhaps the front office wants to see if they can get anything out of Rypien in the camp/preseason process to push Hogan out of a job.
If that’s the case, Denver can justify keeping Flacco and Lock on the active roster and perhaps Rypien on the practice squad as an emergency 54th guy.
