Despite the loss of Will Parks to his hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Denver Broncos completed their 2020 Draft class without selecting a safety through seven rounds.
They were in some positions to select a safety in the early rounds, but they never did.
Selecting a safety in the first round was never going to happen, as wide receiver was always the choice. A whopping five safeties came off the board in the second round, with four of those being drafted before the Broncos’ second-round pick, number 46 overall.
They decided to go with wide receiver K.
