Denver Broncos Show Promise, But Fall to Vikings

When Paxton Lynch came out to start the second half for the Denver Broncos, it was about the same as the first half. He looked flat and could not get anything going. Down 27-14, Chad Kelly began getting to work.

He led the Denver Broncos to two touchdown drives. For a moment, the Broncos had the lead. But it was short lived. Former Broncos preseason quarterback Kyle Sloter led the Minnesota Vikings to two touchdown drives to lead the Vikings to a win over the Broncos in the first preseason game of the 2018 season.

The first half was one to forget, minus some big plays from Royce Freeman and Isaiah McKenzie.
