The Denver Broncos could be opportunists in the 2020 free agent signing period with Darqueze Dennard hitting the market for a second time.
Dennard, one of the top nickel cornerbacks available, initially signed a three-year, $13.5 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars have traded both Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye within the last year, so cornerback was obviously a position of need for them heading into the 2020 free agent signing period. Unfortunately for them, the terms Dennard agreed to hit a snag.
The Jaguars say that CB Darqueze Dennard, who had intended to sign a three-year deal with them, will not be signing with the team after they were unable to agree to final terms on the deal.
