The signing of running back Theo Riddick was an intriguing move by the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, Riddick got hurt with a broken shoulder and was placed on injured reserve at the start of the 2019 season.
Riddick’s best skills come in the passing game. He has 285 receptions for 2,238 yards and 14 touchdowns in his career. That, obviously, is a good thing, even though he is a running back and his main job should be running the ball.
Out of the Broncos running backs in 2019, Phillip Lindsay has 25 receptions on 32 targets. Fellow second-year running back Royce Freeman has 27 receptions on 34 targets.
