Some Denver Broncos season-ticket holders had big smiles Wednesday morning because they had Super Bowl tickets in hand.
The team distributed its share of Super Bowl tickets using a lottery system. Letters went out with the results, and the ticket-holders who won were offered the opportunity to buy tickets to the big game at face value at the box office at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., where the Broncos will play the Carolina Panthers on Feb. 7 in Super Bowl 50, seats approximately 68,500, with 165 luxury suites and 8,500 club seats, according to the stadium web page.
