The Denver Broncos lost cornerback Ronald Darby to an injury following their Week 1 game against the New York Giants. Despite Darby finishing out the game, he was diagnosed with a hamstring injury.
Darby was placed on injured reserve, forcing him to miss at least three weeks (per injured reserve rules). At the end of the day, Darby only missing one more game than he’s technically required to is a win for the Denver Broncos.
That puts him on schedule to be ready to face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The team signed Darby to a three-year, $30 million deal this past offseason after moving on from A.
