The value of NFL defensive linemen never has been higher. Just look at the contracts Jacksonville and the New York Giants gave to defensive ends Malik Jackson and Olivier Vernon.
The NFL is a copycat league, and after the Broncos won Super Bowl 50 behind a ferocious front seven, it's inevitable that teams will try to duplicate that blueprint. Well, it just so happens that the 2016 draft has the best defensive line class in recent memory, with depth from the first round to the seventh.
Besides quarterback, defensive end probably is the Broncos' biggest need, as they hope to replace Jackson.
