As we know, the Denver Broncos were unable to come away with a win against the Oakland Raiders on Monday night. One of the question marks in the game was the very first offensive play for Denver.
That play was a jet sweep play to rookie tight end Noah Fant. Unfortunately, the play backfired for Denver, as it went for a 5-yard loss. The next two plays were positive, as they went for a combined fourteen yards.
The problem there was that, in the end, it was fourth-down-and-one and the Broncos had to punt.
Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello acknowledged that play on Thursday:
