Denver Broncos reach agreement with slot receiver Jordan Norwood

The Denver Broncos have reached an agreement with wide receiver Jordan Norwood to keep him in Denver on a one-year deal.

Norwood caught 22 passes for the Broncos last season in a slot receiver role, where he split time with Bennie Fowler and Bubba Caldwell. After going undrafted out of Penn State in the 2009 NFL Draft, Norwood signed with the Cleveland Browns. He also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before signing in Denver in 2014.

His most notable moment with the Broncos came in the Super Bowl when he set a record for the longest punt return in Super Bowl history (61 yards) setting up the Broncos for a Field Goal to put them up 13-7 in the second quarter.
