Just ahead of their matchup on Sunday afternoon against the Tennessee Titans, the Denver Broncos made a roster move, adding linebacker Quentin Gause to the active roster and placing wide receiver Marlon Brown on injured reserve.
It’s a somewhat disappointing end to Brown’s first year with the Broncos, but he signed a two-year contract, and will be back to compete for a roster spot next offseason. The coaching staff continually spoke very highly of Brown, so when he’s fully healthy, he might be a really underrated piece of this offense.
For now, the man who is taking his roster spot is linebacker Quentin Gause, a rookie free agent out of Rutgers who will likely dress on Sunday and play a role on special teams.
