The Denver Broncos aren’t entering free agency with unlimited funds.
As a matter of fact, the trade for Joe Flacco has taken $18.5 million off the table for Denver, which now has to figure out what to do with Case Keenum’s $18 million base salary and $21 million cap hit.
Despite the addition of Flacco, the Broncos do project to have a decent amount of cap space, more space than they had when they went on their spending spree back in 2014, and they are expected to be relatively aggressive in filling some needs right away.
