The Denver Broncos added a new player to the offensive line, claiming first-year center/guard Patrick Morris off of waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Morris was signed by the Steelers out of TCU in 2018 as an undrafted free agent, so he obviously has a year of work with former Steelers offensive line coach and current Denver Broncos offensive line coach Mike Munchak.
He also played at TCU with fellow Denver Broncos offensive lineman Austin Schlottmann, and actually got work at center when Schlottmann was dealing with an injury there.
Capable of playing guard and center, the Broncos likely viewed Morris as a replacement for the recently departed Corey Levin, who signed off the Broncos' practice squad with to the Chicago Bears active roster.
