ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur will not be at Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to COVID-19 protocols.
Shurmur, who calls plays for the offense, was not on the field for Friday's practice. Quarterback Drew Lock went to the COVID-19 reserve list Saturday after a positive test after the team had arrived in Dallas.
Broncos coach Vic Fangio said after Friday's practice he had received notification of Shurmur's positive test for COVID-19 Friday morning. Fangio would not officially rule Shurmur out of the mix Sunday, but as of Friday afternoon Shurmur is not expected to be available.
