The NFL Scouting Combine is more about solidifying grades for players and putting official numbers to athletic measurables than actually increasing someone’s stock, but there are exceptions with players who do so well their performances cannot be ignored.
When the offensive linemen took the field in Indianapolis, Florida Gators tackle Jawaan Taylor really stood out.
Taylor showed off his strength, sweet feet, and power in the combine drills he went through. Many felt like he was a top 10-15 guy before the combine, and his performance more than solidified that. As a matter of fact, he could be the most coveted tackle in this year’s draft.
